🏰 Dungeons

Which dungeons to prioritize, stage thresholds that matter, key mechanics per dungeon, and energy allocation for mid-game.

🏰 Contents

Priority Order — Mid Game

  1. 1

    Dragon's Lair — farm first

Primary source of Speed and Accuracy sets. These two stats gate almost everything else in the game. Get to stage 16+ as fast as possible and stay here.

  2. 2

Spider's Den — farm second, every day

The main source of accessories (Banners, Amulets, Rings) — you won't reliably get accessories anywhere else. Target stage 10 minimum, push to 15+.

  3. 3

    Ice Golem's Peak — third

Defensive sets: Reflex, Provoke, Frostbite. Less critical than Dragon/Spider but feeds your tanks and arena defenders.

  4. 4

Fire Knight's Castle — last, need the right team first

Home of Regeneration and Savage sets, but hardest dungeon mechanically. Don't invest here until you have 3+ multi-hitters and a TM control champion.

The Three Stage Thresholds That Matter

Don’t worry about every stage number. These three thresholds are the only ones worth planning around:

StageWhat changesWhy it matters
Stage 16Mystery Shards and Brews removed from drop poolEvery drop is an artifact. Run counts for gear go down meaningfully.
Stage 204★ artifacts removedOnly 5★ and 6★ gear drops. Best tournament/event points per energy (~0.76 pts/energy). Target for mid-game.
Stage 24–25Highest artifact qualityBest gear in the game but harder fights and more energy. Push here late-game.

Stage 20 is the mid-game target for everything

Stage 20 gives only high-quality gear AND is the most efficient stage for Dungeon Divers / tournament events. Once you can reliably auto stage 20, park there and don’t overthink it.

Dungeon Mechanics — What You Actually Need to Know

Dragon’s Lair

Spider’s Den

Fire Knight’s Castle

Don't force Fire Knight early

Fire Knight requires a purpose-built team. Trying it with generic gear-farming champs wastes keys and energy. Get your multi-hitters first, then push.

Ice Golem’s Peak

Energy Allocation — Mid Game

Roughly split your daily spare energy like this:

PriorityAllocationWhy
Potion Keeps~⅓ of spare energyAscensions eat potions fast; fusion events burn them even faster
Dragon + Spider~⅔ of spare energyYour two most important dungeons. Split roughly 60/40 toward Dragon unless accessories are the bottleneck.
Fire Knight / Ice GolemWhen you have the teamDon’t drain energy here until you can auto comfortably

During Dungeon Divers events: shift to your strongest stage

Dungeon Divers points scale with artifact rarity/rank obtained. Stage 20 auto runs while the event is active — you farm gear AND bank event points simultaneously. No extra effort needed.

Grim Forest

Grim Forest is a separate monthly game mode — not a traditional dungeon, but the closest thing to one and worth knowing about. Unlocked at Account Level 55. It resets every 30 days with a new map layout.

How it works:

Deck building: Hard Mode requires two decks of 20 champions each (40 total). Each stage randomly drafts a subset of your deck — harder stages draft fewer, so your weakest champions will eventually be on the team. Don’t mono-stack one deck.

Most important mechanic: Block Debuffs. Bosses like Draugnell spam AoE Freeze/Provoke, Maximoz stacks heavy Poison, Tauraze applies healing-Burns. Champions that can cleanse or block debuffs are your highest priority picks for both decks.

Why it matters for relics: Completing Grim Forest stages daily earns Grim Forest relic materials — the source for the GF relic group including Lens of Intangibility (best Ignore DEF relic in the game). Treat daily GF clears the same as daily FW Hard runs: both are mandatory material pipelines.

Spend your 30 Distorted Energy every day

It does not carry over. Unused energy is just lost materials and lost relic crafting progress. Even clearing easy Green stages is better than letting it cap.
