Why CvC Defines Your Weekly Rhythm
CvC runs every week (Thursday to Monday) and rewards your entire clan based on combined points — better clans convert those points into shards, books, potions, and energy for everyone. The single biggest lever you have is timing: doing the same actions during CvC vs. outside it is the difference between contributing and wasting resources.
CvC is why you batch everything
A player who 6-stars one champion per week but always does it during CvC contributes far more than a player who 6-stars at the same rate but does it randomly throughout the week.

What to Save for the CvC Window
These activities give CvC points and should never be done outside the window unless you have an urgent reason:

Books — rare, epic, and legendary
Every skill book gives CvC points: Rare = 500, Epic = 1,000, Legendary = 3,000. If CvC is two days away, hold the book. Never book a champion mid-week when the window is approaching.

Great Hall upgrades (arena medals)
Spending arena medals on Great Hall upgrades earns ~1,000 CvC points per upgrade — one of the best point-per-action rates in the game. Never visit the Great Hall outside a CvC window. Bank your medals all week and dump them when CvC starts.

Ascending champions (potions)
Every ascension tier earns CvC points. If you have potions stockpiled and a champion queued to ascend, wait for the window — especially 5★ → 6★ ascensions, which give the most points.

Glyph upgrades (ascending gear)
Upgrading glyphs on your artifacts gives CvC points. Bank glyph upgrades throughout the week and apply them all in one session when CvC opens.

Forging gear at the Forge
Crafting gear at the Forge earns CvC points. Accumulate your forge materials during the week and craft during the window rather than spreading it out.

6-star pushes
A single 6-star gives 1,000 CvC points — the highest champion-training action. If you're 2–3 rank-ups away from a 6★, hold until CvC starts before feeding the last food champions.

Rank-up food (4★ and 5★)
Ranking up food champions gives high CvC points. Pre-level food beforehand so the rank-up action itself happens inside the window.

Doom Tower floors
DT floor completions give CvC points. Save some floor progress for the CvC window rather than clearing everything on reset day.
The most common CvC mistake
Spending books, upgrading Great Hall, ascending champions, or applying glyphs on a Tuesday — then having nothing left to contribute during Thursday–Monday. Check the weekly CvC schedule before spending anything that gives points.
What You Must Do Every CvC Window

Spend all 5 CB keys every day
Clan Boss keys give medium CvC points. Never let them cap during an active window — send them even if your team isn't optimized.

Spend all 6 Hydra keys
Hydra resets Thursday, same as CvC opens. Use all 6 keys during the window for CvC points and clan rewards.

Run Tag Team Arena daily
Low points per battle, but it's passive and cumulative across the 5-day window.
What Has Zero CvC Connection

Don’t delay awakening activities waiting for CvC — there is zero overlap. Use soulstones during Awakening Boost events and save your CvC resources for the CvC window.

CvC overlaps with other events every week. When it does, stack your actions:
